Using Scrip
These terms apply to the Scrip website, studio, connected bots, and related software features. “Scrip” refers to this service and the people operating it. The Disclaimer & risk notice forms part of these terms.
Use Scrip only if you are at least 18, legally able to agree to these terms, and permitted to use the particular service and assets in your location. You are responsible for your own legal, tax, and reporting obligations. Do not use a VPN, proxy, another person, or a different wallet to evade applicable asset, sanctions, or geographic restrictions. An available button or a successful transaction does not establish eligibility.
Creators, community takeovers & public claims
Creators and authorized operators are responsible for project descriptions, token parameters, allocations, claims, content, account access, and instructions they approve. Do not describe simulations, proposed integrations, drafts, planned buybacks, or uncollected fees as completed actions. A project’s use of Scrip does not make it an official Scrip project or make its claims statements by Scrip.
A community takeover request, generated wallet, or verified wallet connection does not itself transfer a token’s authorities, ownership, fee rights, social accounts, or intellectual property. A transfer must be approved and completed through the relevant protocol or account owner. A wallet’s name or vanity address is not proof of legitimacy.
Third-party contracts and protocols may permit changes to fees, authorities, transfer rules, or availability. Read the current account state and transaction details. An onchain record is evidence of that action, not a guarantee that a project is safe or will succeed.
Content, automation & connected services
You must have the rights and permissions needed for material you upload or request, including images, names, voices, likenesses, logos, and social posts. You authorize Scrip and the providers needed for your requested task to process, store, transform, and deliver that material to provide the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your original material to Scrip.
Generated material may be inaccurate, non-unique, infringing, or unsuitable for publication. Scrip does not promise copyright ownership, exclusivity, factual accuracy, or legal clearance for an output. Applicable provider terms and third-party rights continue to apply. Review endorsements, sponsorship disclosures, financial claims, links, and depictions before publication.
Posting depends on the connected account’s permissions and the destination platform’s rules. Scheduling is not proof of publication. Autonomous operation, fallback operators, brand checks, and subagents can fail or pause. A plan, budget, or “runs on Scrip” label is not a commitment to uninterrupted work, engagement, buyers, or price support.
Prices, fees & budgets
Review the quoted retail price and applicable charges before authorizing paid work. Scrip sets its production prices, which may include service costs and margin. They are not necessarily the underlying provider’s wholesale prices. Network, protocol, platform, liquidity-pool, token, and third-party charges may apply separately. Fee schedules and estimates are identified by their scope; a headline platform fee is not the complete cost of trading.
Only finalized, verified receipts establish collected onchain fees. Accrued fees, estimated revenue, simulations, test credits, and unsettled assets are not spendable provider credit. Converting a collected asset into an operating balance can incur price movement, network costs, and conversion charges. Budget allocations and limits apply to the actions and balances described by the feature; they are not a guarantee against every external protocol risk.
A submitted blockchain transaction generally cannot be reversed by Scrip. A failed transaction can still incur network fees, and a provider may charge for work it has already performed. Drafts and test credits have no cash redemption value. Any cancellation or refund availability depends on the status of the particular order and applicable law; nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.
Future price changes apply to newly authorized actions or the clearly disclosed rules of an existing automation. A change to a displayed schedule does not itself rewrite an existing onchain contract. Inspect the transaction and the relevant pool or platform configuration.
Tokens, stock-linked assets & ecosystem plans
Buying or holding a project token or $SCRIP does not, solely because of these terms or a website description, create equity in Scrip, a claim on platform revenue, a debt, a right to dividends, or a guaranteed benefit. Any specific contractual or token rights must be established in the documents and mechanism governing that asset. Do not rely on a proposed feature as an existing entitlement.
Buybacks, burns, rewards, fee allocations, and holder access are available only to the extent actually implemented and funded. Scenario calculators illustrate assumptions; they are not forecasts or promises. Supply reductions do not guarantee price appreciation. Fees paid by users can fund operation of the service, and the platform may receive fee rights from pools or tokens created through it.
A token quoted against a stock-linked asset is distinct from that quote asset and the referenced company’s shares. The referenced company need not endorse the token or Scrip. Issuer terms, redemption limits, corporate actions, trading hours, geographic restrictions, custody, and depeg risk can affect stock-linked assets. Some issuers prohibit access by U.S. persons or people in particular locations. A disclaimer does not override those restrictions.
Acceptable use
Do not use Scrip for fraud, market manipulation, wash trading, deceptive promotions, impersonation, unlawful fundraising, sanctions evasion, exploitation of minors, harassment, credential theft, or infringement of third-party rights. Do not misrepresent generated endorsements, team involvement, guaranteed profits, or affiliation with an issuer.
Do not attack the service, bypass authorization or spending limits, steal credentials, interfere with other workspaces, or use prompt injection to obtain another user’s data or permissions. Report suspected vulnerabilities without accessing, changing, or retaining data beyond what is needed to establish the issue. Scrip may restrict abusive access or pause affected work to protect the service and users; that does not imply it can freeze or recover assets on independent protocols.
Availability & responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and outputs are provided as available, without promises of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, security against every attack, or commercial success. Outages, blockchain reorganizations, congestion, stale data, compromised external services, and software defects can cause delays or losses.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scrip is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or loss caused by independent third-party protocols or user-authorized transactions. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or excuse fraud, intentional misconduct, or other conduct for which exclusion is prohibited. Your mandatory statutory rights remain in force.
Scrip may update these terms and publish a new version. Material changes requiring renewed agreement will be presented for acknowledgment where applicable. A new version does not turn an earlier signature into consent to different terms. These terms do not impose an arbitration agreement or class-action waiver.
